Can you spot the sunflower?

These were given to everybody in the Cargo housing development. Hopefully they will grow into towering sunflowers. :-)

The sunflowers of Millbay

We planted daffodils on this rubble pile on a neglected site opposite the Cargo housing development in Millbay Plymouth. Using Guerrilla Gardening as a vehicle to reclaim social space and become a catalyst and driver to regenerate Millbay. When these daffodils bloom they will symbolise rebirth and new beginnings.

This is the Cargo housing development in Millbay. This site is part of a regeneration program that has been put on hold, presumably due to lack of funds. Our mission is to start Guerrilla Gardening in Millbay. We want the community to join in and re-appropriate this neglected site. Hopefully our actions will be a catalyst for this to happen.
